Melanie Greenberg Fabulous Disaster the Show

Melanie Greenberg is a writer, performer, and producer known for her bold comedic voice and deeply human storytelling. After taking time away from the spotlight to focus on parenting, she returned with a vengeance with her award-winning solo show The Elephant in the Room, which earned Best Comedy at the United Solo Festival in New York City and went on to a celebrated residency at the Apple Tree Inn in the Berkshires.

Greenberg first built a cult following with her YouTube series Kill Switch, where fans dubbed her “the comic voice of a generation that hadn’t quite caught up yet.” Her work has continued to evolve, blending comedy, character-driven writing, and social impact. Through her longtime partnership with the nonprofit OPEN DOORS, she champions accessible storytelling spaces for underserved and historically excluded communities.

Today, Greenberg expands her creative footprint as the executive producer of two documentary films, A Place of Absence and Fall of an Empire. With a career rooted in humor, honesty, and advocacy, she brings a fresh point of view to every project she touches... and she’s just getting started.
